What is community-based participatory research?
Community-based participatory research is a type of study where researchers, community members, and community leaders all co-create ethically and effectively to answer a research question.
Compared to other models of research, the voices and lived experiences of the community, often represented by a Community Advisory Board, are central and essential in all steps of the research process.
